Annapurna Circuit Trek

BOOK NOW
Holi Festival in Nepal

This amazing Himalayan trekking adventure to the truly magical Annapurna Circuit duly deserves the reputation as a classic and a great Himalayan treks. Something that every traveler would love to experience in their lifetime! The circuit takes you around the mighty Annapurna ranges, following the courses of forceful rivers of the Marshyangdi in the east and the Kali Gandaki in the west. The Kali Gandaki is the world’s deepest gorge enclosed by the sky-high Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.

There are mainly four regions that are passed through on this 29 days long trek; Lamjung, Manang, Mustang and Myagdi. Lamjung and Myagdi at the lower elevations allow you a glimpse into lush green subtropical valley with neatly placed villages, terraced farming and predominant ‘Hindus’. While Manang and Mustang are of the higher elevations and are predominantly Tibetan Buddhists; the trek lets you an insight to Nepal’s dominant religions, rituals and traditions. Right after starting your way towards the destination, you realize the diverse inhabitants, their ethnic groups, alluring views of the majestic high mountain scenery and ever-changing picturesque landscapes; this trek is hard to beat.

The trek goes counter-clockwise from Besisahar to Nayapul and reaches its summit in Thorung La (pass) at the height of 5416m, or 17,769 feet. The route goes past the following mountains: Manaslu (an 8,000-plus meter peak), Langtang Himal, Annapurna II and IV, Annapurna III and Gangapurna, and, of course, Annapurna I and Dhaulagiri — passing through the world’s deepest gorge in between those two 8,000-plus meter peaks. Poon Hill, at the end of the trek, affords views of those two mountains, as well as South Annapurna and Macchapucchre, the “Fishtail Mountain.”
