Baruntse Expedition Overview
Baruntse Expedition is technically easy and makes a great trekking peak climbing in Nepal for practicing the ascend of 8000 meter higher peaks. From the base camp to the west Cole with its huge glacial plateau, everything will make your ascent exciting.
Standing between Mt. Lhotse and Mt. Makalu at the epicenter of the three remote glacial valleys –Barun, Imja Tse and Hinku; Baruntse was first discovered by an expedition team led by Edmund Hillary while climbing the east of Mt. Everest.
Our Baruntse Expedition Itinerary approaches the pristine wilderness environment of Hinku valley and Mera La on the way to Baruntse Base Camp.
While we try our level best to follow through the Baruntse Expedition itinerary, the adventure travel in the remote mountain region is unpredictable and involves high risk. Therefore, our expedition leader has power to amend the itinerary if he thinks it’s necessary due to safety concerns.
Please follow through the detailed itinerary and get back to us for any further assistance!
