Day 02: Full day guided sightseeing in Pashupatinath, Boudhanath and Patan Durbar Square. (B)
Day 03: Pokhara - Modi. This morning drive to Nayapul by coach from Pokhara. Lunch is served at river beach while other member makes ready the raft. As soon as you finished your lunch, you are given briefing by river guide. Get set to paddle forward because the biggest rapid (class 4+) of this river "Small Brother" is approaches with speed. Another rapid " Big brother" follows immediately making its negotiation white a challenge. After some class III+ rapids you will be able to get off downstream and set up camp at Modi Dovan. Enjoy the starry night and campfire. (B, L, D)
Day 04: Modi Dovan - Seti Beni Beach After a few minutes of rafting you encounter the class IV rapid "Morning Rapid" and paddle down to the next camp facing numerous other rapids. The whole day you can enjoy the panoramic views of the mountain and traditional country life, while paddling through the deepest river gorge of the world. Camp at Seti Beni beach. (B, L, D)
Day 05: Seti Beni drive back to Pokhara and check in Hotel. (B)
Day 06: Poakhara to Kathmandu (B)

We have travelled many places around the world and prefer to use local companies. After some Internet searching I came across Skyline treks. They put together a great itinerary for us. We travelled for 5 weeks in Nepal including treking to Annapurna base camp, rafting the Seti river, Chitwan National Park, and most of the local attractions around Kathmandu, Pokhara, and everywhere in between. We had a fantastic experience.

What you gain by traveling with local groups is getting to know people including your guides, drivers, and many people along the way. There is a much greater interaction with local people that will enrich your trip. Having the same driver and guides, porters etc over many weeks allows good friendships to be formed and for a much more personal trip. Raj, the owner of the company took great care of us. When the going got tough on the abc trek with ice and snow, there was always a helping hand. We always had hot drinks shortly after arriving at the tea houses.
