This trek walks you through the hidden valley of Nar-Phu crossing the challenging high passes of Kang La and Thorong La. Nar-Phu valley trekking makes up a spectacular journey into a wild and unexplored located north of Annapurna circuit. Nar-Phu valley was opened for foreigners only in 2002, so its natural and cultural beauty remains untouched from the outer-world influences.
The trek combines exciting high peaks and passes, ice falls, glaciers, remote villages, narrow canyons, dense forests, yaks, monasteries, gompas and unique Himalayan cultures, it stays in your memories long after you get back from Nar-Phu valley too. Even though the entrance to the valley is somewhat narrow and forested, the valley system above opens up to a huge expanse of high snowy peaks, ancient villages and high altitude pasturelands.
